Mortal Moment

Clogged emptiness couldn't fly buoyantly,
Malignantly grew the callus within.
Smothered and stoned in Grey smoke
I promised not to catch his last glimpse.

Trapped in tangibility
shed the skin,
Silence veiled the soul
And the eyes deceived.

Dejected or loved,
Cared or mocked
Destroyed or molded,
Nothing mattered at last.

Lost in the riot
I wished to run back to you
Instead, I sobbed
and wished my corpse never reach you.

The moment was mortal
and it died placidly.

Write remembrance
and destroy them
Or scribble poems
and burn them.
But let me be in your thoughts for a while.
